I have found Volume 2 to far surpass the original in convenience and particularly in sturdiness. I have owned too many of the originals–the wiring on all of which too quickly became unsoldered. No such problem with Volume 2.

I like this cake bakery!!!! My kids play with it for hours and they make really clean, decorative cakes. It is really simple to use and they taste fantastic too. The best part is they only need to use a regular microwave. I bet your kids will delight in this product as much as mine!!!!!

When I bought this game for the family, I saw us around the kitchen table singing and laughing the evening away, til the kids bedtime anyway. Not to be.

After assembling everything, which was quite simple, and putting new batteries in the “voice thing”, the game started. Soon my daughter picked a “sing a song” card. So, we, (that’s 3 adult’s and 3 children sing 2 verses of Wheels On The Bus with no action at all. Bottom line the “voice activated sled release mechanism” refused to work. We tried numerous times and all attempts failed.

I should have been wary when I saw the price. We are going to give it one more shot. If it works, I’ll let you know.

My son(now 4)recieved this toy last year for Christmas. The plastic piece that clips on is not made for a younger child. He broke it off because he tried to take it off. Although, he has still tried to play with it regardless of it’s missing piece; he lost interest because the books kept sliding off. If you made a plastic part that attached from the top and had a hinge on it that could just be lifted to place the books in, that might work better.
For those small ones that like to color, it’s a fantastic toy, but as I said before, it needs to be made more durable..

We got this for my daughter’s 6 year ancient birthday. It was simple to use, simple to clean and hasn’t given us one bit of distress. I read all the reviews of people who say they scratched it during cleaning, which surprised me. A damp/wet rag, just lightly went across the surface, worked very well. We had no distress cleaning it.

The markers ARE small, and I can see where they will run out in a small time. Crayola doesn’t sell the markers separately, you have to special order them. I found a place online that sells ADULT wet-erase black light markers that I am ordering to supplement her set.

VERY cool toy. We’re glad we bought it.

This is a fantastic book light for the money. It provides rich, white light, and weighs absolutly nothing. Highly Recommmended to anyone who wants a fantastic lightweight and portable booklight!

I first found the new line of games at Children’s Hospital therapy center. These are incredible games, before you know it you too are having fun. These are fantastic gifts, I wish they came with the books. I gave several different ones as gifts and the amusing thing each parent on the side said they would make fantastic drinking games????????? That has yet to be tested lol…

My sons, 11 and 8 received this as a Christmas present. After opening it and assembling it on their own, they played with it for about 15 minutes before one of the tops broke. I was watching and really got a small worried about how quick the tops were spinning after the boys said “ouch” a couple of times. Then, my youngest played with the intact top which bounced off the side of the “arena” and really lightly scratched his arm. Well, they had had enough of it, and both chose it was junk. I suggested that we send it back to Santa to get fixed, but I sure hope he sends us a gift certificate to get some other toy. I reckon if one of those tops spinned off the arena too quick and bounced up towards the face, someone might really get a nasty shock. I would limit this toy to teenagers and insist they wear eye protection (this coming from a mom ok with trampolines, by the way).
